My name is Timothy, and I’m from Avon, Ohio — my calling is outreach!
I was raised Catholic, but in my early 20s I began to wrestle with serious doubts about the existence of God. I had so many questions and felt lost among the countless denominations and teachings. For about five years, I drifted away from my faith, searching for truth but not knowing where to turn.
Then I discovered Pastor Mike Winger — a Bible-based teacher whose YouTube channel “Mike Winger” and website BibleThinker.org became a lifeline for me. I spent months binge-watching his teachings, sometimes for 10+ hours a day. Through that time, I finally found the answers I’d been longing for and came to truly understand the biblical path to salvation.
2021 was one of the darkest years of my life. My mental health hit rock bottom, and in December of that year, I completely broke down. I remember falling to my knees outside, crying out to God — begging for help, a sign, anything. I didn’t want to go on. But on December 29, 2021, God gave me a vision that changed everything. I was in my shop, lost in thought, when I finally said aloud, “I’m just going to go work for the Lord.” In that moment, I lost my physical sight — but God opened my spiritual eyes to what He wanted me to see. From that moment on, a fire was lit in my heart — a desire to share the truth with everyone I meet.
After that encounter, I didn’t yet know what “working for the Lord” meant. But God led me to a pastor devoted entirely to outreach ministry, and for the next three years I learned what it truly means to be an effective evangelist — bringing the Good News and hope to the lost and the broken. That’s where my passion for outreach was born, at the start of 2022.
Today, my mission is simple but powerful: to make Heaven full and Hell empty. Every day I continue to learn, grow, and serve. Thank you for taking the time to read my story — and may God bless each and every one of you.
